IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT ETHICS CREDITS
As most of you are aware, PAW is a professional organization that prides itself on wanting to further paralegal education. When licensure passes, one of the requirements for paralegals is to have ethics credits.
A few years ago, the Board of Directors felt it would be a good idea to get paralegals educated and used to the fact that they would have to have ethics credits in order to be a licensed paralegal. Because of this, the Board agreed that one ethics credit will be mandatory in order to continue as an Active Voting Member of PAW. In order to assist our members in obtaining that one yearly ethics credit, the Board has voted on a 60 day grace period for members to obtain this credit. If you have not obtained your ethics credit you may want to consider attending the Annual Seminar. You can also try to obtain one ethics credit by taking a course offered through an online course. Thank you!
